“Let’s talk openly about LGBTI rights” was an activity based on inspirational speech with the public, through open lectures and sharing personal stories of LGBTI community members with students, faculty members, friends and colleagues.

Along with the sharing of our common history and the achievements that took place in such a rapid time, this activity aimed to foster new initiatives for the LGBTI community to enjoy and exercise its rights without fear, pressure or discrimination.

The Festival of Diversity is the most important public event in support of the LGBTI community in Albania. It is organized over the course of a week and aims to change the perceptions and wrong attitudes towards LGBTI persons and families. It is organized by Pink Embassy in cooperation with a number of organizations and institutions throughout Albania. For the first time, the Festival of Diversity was organized in May 2010 in the occasion of the International Day against Homophobia and Transphobia.
